Nissan Key Fob Programming
About half the Nissan model years we cover can be programmed at home, 125 of 245. The dividing line is the key. A remote-head key, with the buttons built into the key, can be programmed by cycling the ignition. A smart key or push-button start can't be done at home and needs a locksmith or dealer. The 370Z, GT-R, Juke, Kicks, Cube and Versa Note need a pro on every year we list. Nissan fobs take a CR2025, CR2032 or CR1620 depending on the year.
Choose your Nissan model for programming steps, the battery it uses, and the correct replacement fob with FCC ID and part number — 245 model years across 20 models.
