Toyota Key Fob Programming
Toyota remotes can be programmed at home with a sequence of door and ignition movements. There are no tools involved, just every remote for the car in hand. That works on 128 of the 245 Toyota model years we cover, from the Corolla to the Tundra. The Prius and Venza need a locksmith or dealer on every year we list. Battery is where Toyota gets fiddly. We see the CR2032, CR2016, CR2025, CR1632 and CR1620, so check your year before you buy.
Choose your Toyota model for programming steps, the battery it uses, and the correct replacement fob with FCC ID and part number — 245 model years across 22 models.
